London, November 2008…. The Golden Tulip Antwerp Centre is the first
hotel in Benelux to install and trial a new flexible Internet service from Quadriga which allows hotels to manage and offer guests a range of bandwidth options to match their application needs. The decision to trial the new Quadriga Tiered Bandwidth Services reflects the growing challenge faced by hotels to respond to an ever-increasing demand from guests to access bandwidthhungry
applications.

Golden Tulip Hospitality Group, who signed a 3 year preferred supplier partnership agreement with Quadriga at the end of 2007 and already have
its market-leading internet and entertainment services installed in several of its properties, recognised the opportunity these new services represent, to differentiate its offer. Tiered Bandwidth Services allow a hotel to offer differentiated services based upon bandwidth speed, where for example
128 kb/s threshold could be charged at a standard rate and unrestricted bandwidth speed assigned to a higher rate. This allows the guest to choose the appropriate bandwidth for their application e.g. surfing a website may not require the higher speed, but a guest using a lot of bandwidth to download could select the maximum option.

According to Riko van Santen, Senior Vice President of Electronic Distribution & ICT for Golden Tulip Hospitality Group, “We recognise that the needs of our guests are evolving and the new Tiered Bandwidth Services from Quadriga enable us to respond effectively to these needs. We are proud to be trialling this new service and look forward to the results over the coming weeks”.

These new services reinforce Quadriga’s strengthening focus on offering a comprehensive range of Internet services which not only respond to real guest needs but offer a strong business proposition to the hotel. Today Quadriga enables hotel customers to offer a unique array of guest services including internet access for laptop users - either from secure wired connections in guest rooms or via WiFi in public areas and meeting rooms, as well as internet access via the TV.

Liz Moores, Quadriga’s Director of Product, comments “Hoteliers’ demands for internet solutions are changing and they are searching for new ways to improve their offering and enhance the guest experience. We believe our
new Tiered Bandwidth Services provides just that and look forward to reviewing the results of this trial with Golden Tulip Hospitality Group and working closely together to deliver maximum guest satisfaction with Quadriga’s range of Internet services.”
