Hotel management company brings new, dynamic approach to the hospitality industry

Fresh and bright, Layia Hospitality is a new company with a dynamic vision to transform the hospitality industry in the Middle East and North Africa.

Layia Hospitality is the commercial name of Layia Hotels Management Company, a registered LLC with its headquarters in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Combining the talents of highly experienced individuals, Layia's team is a multicultural one which brings together industry experience from many parts of the world. Founded by GGICO (a public trading company) and Daniel Hajjar, a veteran hotelier with over 25 years of experience gained in senior executive positions, they were later joined by Mohamed Awadalla & Freddy Farid. Layia Hospitality is committed to delivering superior standards on all levels.

Three distinct brands will make up the Layia Hospitality portfolio: Layia Hotels, Living Courts and a three-star hotel brand that is soon to be announced. Layia Hotels contains three elements: Layia Hotels, Layia Hotels & Residences and Layia Serviced Villas. Properties trading under the Layia Hospitality brand will be 4 & 5 star properties.

In February 2008 Layia Hospitality opened its first Living Courts property in Dubai “Crystal Living Courts”; Located in TECOM area near The Greens, offers fully equipped 96 two & three bedrooms apartments. The second Living Courts property will open in October “Topaz Living Courts” facing Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, it will offer 64 fully equipped apartments spilt into one, two & three. In October Layia Oak Hotel & Suites will open in TECOM area offering 161 rooms & apartments “1, 2, 3 bedrooms”, 3 food and beverage venues, 3 multi-purpose function rooms, business centre, 24 hour state of the art fitness centre,  outdoor temperature controlled pool, children’s pool, kids playground, extensive landscaping & ample parking space.

Layia Hospitality will continue its growth in 2009 by opening two Living Courts properties: Ruby Living Courts in Sharjah “146 apartments” & Opal Living Courts in Dubai “48 apartments”. In addition to four Layia properties in Dubai: Layia Hotel Al Qusais “235 rooms”, Layia Yasmine Hotel & Spa “310 rooms”, Layia Orchid Hotel & Suites “84 suites” and Layia Serviced Villas “34 five bedroom villas”.
